The team’s experience includes innovative residential projects, educational buildings, award winning workplace buildings, master planning of major mixed use urban developments and major headquarter office buildings.
The practice has acquired a reputation for the design of innovative schemes that employ innovative Methods of Construction.
We have considerable experience in low energy and sustainable building design. Our projects have achieved both Very Good and Excellent BREEAM and ECO Homes ratings.
All our designers can contribute to a project at any stage, reflecting our belief that they should stay with a project from inception to completion whenever possible.
Our senior staff carry out weekly design reviews to mentor and empower other designers and administrative staff to stay at the top of their profession.
Our education manager enables our education projects to meet the latest design standards.

Iain trained at Edinburgh College of Art and the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen achieving a First Class Honours. His design work achieved a nomination for a RIBA President's Medal in 2001.
Iain formed MO Architects in 2008, bringing his experience of architect and developer together, offering a unique blend of knowledge providing clients with the surety that ideas are both innovative and realistic.
Emma Pitman Office Manager/Education Liaison

Emma trained as a teacher at St Mary's College, London and took time out from teaching in 2009 to become a fulltime mother to Harry and Alex.
Emma has since started working part time with MO Architects as our office manager, providing her with both support and training in office management, as well as allowing her the opportunity to be with Harry and Alex as much as she wants.
Trainee Assistant Architects
MO Architects has formed a working partnership with local Universities, offering work placements in our offices for aspiring architects to see the working world of architecture.
We offer these placements on a bi-monthly basis throughout the year and work around the study programmes of the Universities to offer flexibility with the students work.
